These bags are so beautiful! Upcycled from colourful and vibrant sari materials, these tote bags are a beautiful way to carry all those extra essentials!

Ours come with the added bonus that they are upcycled from repurposed sari chindis (fabric scraps), making them zero-waste products.

As these are all upcycled, they are unique and will come in a variety of colours.

Produced by a social initiative in India that provide training opportunities to disadvantaged women, each upcycled tote bag purchase helps to empower underprivileged women with new tailoring skills. Skills able to transform their lives.

The makers earn fair wages for making these bags, so your purchase directly impacts the lives of disadvantaged women! Each set of bags is made from the off-cuts of one sari, so colours and patterns may vary depending on which piece of the sari was used.

About Pri Pri

Priya Velusami is founder of Pri Pri, a collection of upcycled accessories and kidswear for those that love colour, style and sustainability. All designs use pre loved saris destined for landfill and are handmade by a charity in India that helps to upskill and empower underprivileged women with training in tailoring. The concept was born out of Priya's early memories of sewing with her sari clad grandmother who was also the inspiration behind her zero waste values. Priya loves being able to revive beautiful colourful textiles while also helping people and the planet. All items are made only from recycled materials and we strive to reduce our carbon footprint in our manufacturing and delivery operations. All of our packaging is recyclable.

Care

Gently hand wash in cold water. Hang or lay flat to air dry.
