Just one ounce of concentrated Rosehip Tea contains approximately the equivalent amount of Vitamin C you'd find in a dozen oranges! In addition, rosehip fruit tea contains many other vitamins and minerals and has been used for centuries in medicine to reduce inflammation and boost the immune system.
Rosehips are reddish-orange fruits that grow on the rose plant after the petals fall off. You can often find them growing wild in fields, hedgerows, and even forests.
Rose hip tea is becoming popular in cafes and restaurants because it has a unique, tangy taste and has health benefits too. Also, since it doesn't have caffeine, rosehip fruit tea is an excellent choice for people who want a warm, refreshing, and caffeine-free healthy drink.
Mild and fruity tea with a tangy taste harvested in Germany. Brew for 6-8 minutes, 100 degrees.
How to Make the Best Rosehip Tea
- Crush up one teaspoon of rosehip and put it in a teapot or an infuser.
- Bring the water to 100 degrees Celsius and pour it over the crushed rosehips.
- Give it 6 to 8 minutes (or longer if preferred)
- Pour the strained tea into a cup and serve.
Commonly used as a base for herb and fruit infusions, Rose hips blend well, producing a lively cup when mixed with hibiscus petals and dried fruits.
