For the past eight years or so Roger La Borde, London have been designing the most amazing 3D Advent Pop and Slot Calendars.  These enchanting calendars are based upon greeting card designs by their talented Artist portfolio. 
This Northern Lights design by Katie Vernon is a beautiful illustration of a wintry Christmas scene .  The landscape is constructed at the beginning of Advent and then each day you find, pop out and add the animal or decoration of the day. Simply set up the base scene and pop out a new festive piece or animal each day to build the display through December. By Christmas Eve you will have the most delightful decorated snowy scene.

With a little care, it is possible to deconstruct your calendar and reuse year on year - we love placing our Roger La Borde pieces in a keepsake box and btinging out as a display / windowsill decoration each festive season.
