These hand harvested chestnuts have been cooked, peeled and are ready to eat. They can be used in a variety of hot, cold, sweet and savoury dishes at any time of year.
To make a stuffing with an alternative twist, combine chestnuts with apricots, breadcrumbs and sage. They also taste great when added to soup or to accompany salads or warm vegetables such as sprouts or asparagus. Chestnuts also taste excellent with meats such as pork beef or duck.
