Wax on, wax off! Our buff balls are lovingly made using organic cotton and surplus scraps from our beeswax wrap range by the folk at Oakdale Bees.
For every buff ball sold, they make a 50p donation to Friends of the Earth for their ‘Save Britain’s Bees’ campaign.
This buff ball is made in partnership with Oakdale Bees’ inspiring colleagues at ‘Ways into Work’, an amazing organisation which enables those with disabilities or barriers into work. We encourage you to find out more about how you could support these great causes.
Oakdale Bees
Oakdale Bees was founded by Elisabeth Barton-Grew who fulfilled a lifelong passion to care for and work with bees by setting up her own beehives in 2015. These are set in 4 acres of wild meadow fields on the edge of Royal Windsor Forest in Berkshire, UK.
Experienced at producing a range of beeswax related products, in 2021 Elisabeth launched the Beevitalise Range of organic polishes - a collection of nourishing and restorative balms to encourage the repair and revitalisation of old or existing items before buying new.
