Returns of Online Purchases

Returning an unwanted item?

We hope you love what you've ordered, but if you're not 100% satisfied with any item, we've made our returns simple:

  • You can return your item within 28 days, including items purchased with promotional discounts. (Your 28 days start from the date on your receipt, or from the date when you received/collected any items you bought online).
  • Please note: In-store sale items can be exchanged only, within 14 days of receipt, at our SW Coast Weymouth store.
  • Returning Online Sale Items : Notify us within 14 days of receiving your order, you then have another 14 days to return the items to us.
  • Items must be unworn and in their original condition.
  • Items must be returned with a valid order number or receipt.
  • All refunds will be issued to the original method of payment and in the original tender currency (unless otherwise stated or a refund to gift card has been selected).The above returns policy refers to change of mind only and does not affect the statutory rights you have as a consumere.g. the right to cancel, or the right to return items, which are faulty or not as described or a general right to return most online purchases under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

    Agreed refunds are processed within 3 business days on receipt of your returned item/s. The refund will be applied to your original payment method. Refunds are only applicable to full priced items and therefore does not include sale items.

    REFUNDS are not available on loose bulk or refill items as standards.

    REFUNDS are not available on any fresh chilled food items as standard. 

    REFUNDS are not available on jewellery items as standard.

    REFUNDS are not available on sanitary items as standard.

    All refunds will be considered on a case by case basis for the above items. 

    SW Coast Refills RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE EXCESSIVE RECEIPTED AND NON-RECEIPTED RETURNS.

    NO refund will be issued for perishable food items ordered for store collection that have not been collected. These items are purchased to order to ensure freshness. Once your order is placed, this is communicated to our fresh food supplier.

    Should you intend your order for home delivery, and opt to order fresh perishable items for store collection incorrectly, these items will not be refunded.

    The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 grants 14-day cancellation rights for online sales does not apply if the products or services ordered are made to order, purchased to order to ensure freshness or perishable. This includes all fresh vegetable, fruit, cheese and chilled food items. Refunds will not be granted in the event of a customer changing their mind or making a mistake with selected delivery / store collection service.


    Missed the returns window?

    We are unable to accept any items that have been returned outside of the time period above, or that are worn or in an unsellable condition.

How do I return my order?

You must include your order number in your parcel.

You can return either in-store or arrange postal delivery to our returns address below and you will receive your refund within 7 calendar days.

Returns of Store Purchases

EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty or sanitary products). We also do not accept returns for flammable liquids. Final Sale items are not eligible for return. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

EXCHANGES

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

REFUNDS

REFUNDS OF FRESH PRODUCE & REFILL ONLY ITEMS ARE INELIGIBLE FOR UK DELIVERY. 

Our fresh produce is not eligible for delivery outside of DT3 DT4 and DT5 postcodes.

All produce listed as Local Delivery / Store Collection Only on the product listing description, REFILL in the product title, or indeed any product listed under Weymouth Only section of the website is not eligible for UK Mainland Delivery and will be refunded.

Refunds will be subject to a £4.95 administration charge, thereby forfeiting Delivery Charge paid. Please make sure you have not ordered fresh produce if you live outside of these postcodes. 

RETURNS WITH ORIGINAL RECEIPTS

SW Coast Refills permit an exchange or refund, by the original payment method, (with exception of personal hygiene products) with a receipt within 30 days of the purchase date. After 30 days, merchandise may be exchanged only. 

All Merchandise must be returned in the original selling condition. 

For a product to be eligible for return, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, with original packaging intact. After 30 days, we return any eligible products in exchange for store credit notes only.

Faulty items are dealt with on a case by case situation, in order to come to a satisfactory resolution.  Contact us on hello@southwestcoast.co.uk.

SW Coast Gift Cards, all personal hygiene items and Final Sale items are not eligible for refund or exchange. 

FINAL SALE RETURNS

Final Sale products include any heavily discounted clearance items, and all items labelled as final sale. Final Sale also includes all personal hygiene items as due to hygiene reasons, these cannot be exchanged. “Final Sale” merchandise is not eligible for refund, only exchange. 

RETURNS WITH NO RECEIPTS

Unwashed, unworn defective merchandise may be returned without receipt. Merchandise returned without a receipt may be exchanged only at the last Activity/Sale price OR the current selling price, whichever is lower.

CAN I RETURN A GIFT?

Yes you can! Please ensure you have a valid receipt, gift receipt or order number for your item/s. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns, for a refund or exchange, without a valid receipt or order number. Our usual 28 day returns policy still applies. For online purchases, you still have another 14 days to return the items to us. 

FOOD RETURNS

Food is unable to be returned and a refund can only be made on these items if the goods you received are in poor condition.

Should this situation arise, it needs to be brought to our attention within 48 hours of receiving your purchase. This must be brought to our attention as soon as possible after receipt of the goods.

PLEASE NOTE: Food items are occasionally subject to substitution when items go out of stock due to circumstances beyond our control. Typically food substitutions will be despatched in the event that a company ceases trading or production of an item, or in the event of a product recall. Should you receive an email to notify you of a change to your order, and wish to make any amendment to your order, please contact us as soon as possible prior to despatch.

Food items will not be refunded once despatched unless received in poor condition. In this event, please take photos of your product, and external packaging and send them to hello@southwestcoast.co.uk with your order number.

All of our food items are not sold to be stored in the packaging we use and it is your responsibility to transfer your items to suitable, air-tight storage. We do not accept any responsibility for long-term storage of food items or past the recommended use by date.
